Exhibition Overview
The consumption of new energy vehicles in China is growing rapidly. As of the end of 2022, the total number of new energy vehicles in China is about 13.1 million, exceeding half of the global total. With the rapid sinking of the new energy vehicle consumption market, the construction and development of charging piles, as supporting infrastructure for new energy vehicles, have become a key factor in promoting new energy vehicles to the countryside. While vigorously promoting new energy vehicles to the countryside, Shandong is accelerating the construction of public charging infrastructure in counties and townships and charging infrastructure in rural residential areas, creating a convenient and fast "charging circle" for new energy vehicles.
By 2025, the number of public and dedicated charging and swapping power stations in Shandong Province will reach over 8000, with charging infrastructure exceeding 150000 and personal charging infrastructure exceeding 250000. Among them, there are about 5000 public charging and swapping power stations and about 95000 charging infrastructure; There are about 3000 dedicated charging and swapping power stations and about 55000 charging infrastructure. From a regional perspective, by 2025, more than 5 large public DC fast charging stations and 10 or more medium-sized public DC fast charging stations will be built in the urban areas of Jinan and Qingdao; More than 2 large public DC fast charging stations and 5 medium-sized public DC fast charging stations will be built in 14 urban areas such as Zibo; Two or more medium-sized public DC fast charging stations and five or more small public DC fast charging stations will be built in county-level urban areas; At least one small public DC fast charging station will be built in the township.
In order to promote the high-quality development of China's new energy vehicle charging facility industry, promote the promotion and application of charging piles and new technologies, products, materials, processes, and equipment, as well as economic and trade exchanges, the second China (Qingdao) International Charging Pile and Switching Station Technology Equipment Exhibition (CEVSE) in 2024 will be held from September 26 to 28, 2024 at the Qingdao International Expo Center. The exhibition is expected to have a total area of 25000 square meters, with 400 exhibitors and 30000 domestic and foreign buyers. The organizing committee of the conference adheres to the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing, and is committed to promoting new technologies, products, and services for efficient utilization of clean energy, helping to achieve the national 30.60 dual carbon target and creating a win-win green new energy ecological commerce platform.
